Providing Bread for Refugee Families in Need

Providing Bread for Refugee Families in Need

In the temporary camps of southern Turkey, thousands of displaced families continue to struggle with the rising cost of living and the daily challenge of meeting their most basic needs. For many, even securing bread — a simple yet vital staple — has become a hardship.

Through this project, Saed Charity ensures a consistent supply of bread for vulnerable families living in these camps. The initiative provides:

  • Daily bread distribution, reaching 500 individuals each day.
  • Three months of reliable support, reducing the constant anxiety of food insecurity.
  • Dignity and stability, as families are assured of at least one essential part of their daily meals.

Bread, in this context, is more than nourishment — it represents comfort, security, and a sense of normalcy for families who have endured prolonged displacement and hardship. By meeting this essential need, the project restores dignity and provides a foundation for resilience and hope among camp residents.

Saed Charitable Association is a non-profit Syrian organization established in Turkey in 2014. Its mission is to assist victims of wars worldwide and those in need, with a specific focus on alleviating the suffering of Syrians affected by the ongoing crises in Syria and Turkey. The association considers integrity, accountability, and commitment to international humanitarian principles as top priorities in all of its activities.
