Fund Lifesaving Treatment for Refugees Fighting Cancer

Fund Lifesaving Treatment for Refugees Fighting Cancer

Across southern Turkey, more than 2,500 refugee cancer patients are caught in a relentless struggle for survival. For them, displacement did not end with escaping war — it followed them into hospital corridors, chemotherapy units, and overcrowded shelters.

Their fight against cancer is not only medical, but deeply humanitarian:

Elderly patients traveling hours for every chemotherapy session.

Children forced to undergo painful treatments without the comfort of a parent’s presence.

Families living in shelters unfit for recovery, without heating, hygiene, or privacy.

Patients carrying the crushing weight of medical bills, spending $300–$500 monthly on medicines alone, and another $200–$500 on transportation to reach specialized centers.

Behind these numbers are real people.

This project works to ease their suffering by ensuring access to treatment, safe transportation, essential medications, and improved living conditions. More than healthcare, it is about restoring dignity, resilience, and the hope to fight another day.
